Felissa Taylor founded the program when she saw how her 2 sons were thriving in learning Spanish.
"I understood the benefits of learning another language at a young age, and wanted to provide other families in the Austin area the opportunity to do the same for their own children."
She enjoys hiking, cycling, travel, and is a singer-songwriter who loves to bring music into the classroom. Her concentration as a graduate and undergraduate was language acquisition.
She has served on committees in writing benchmarks and standards related to language learning for the state of Texas, and has written for other non-profit organizations. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Casa Albergue Hogar in Ojinaga, MX where 10% of profits recieved goes back to the children there.
She and her 2 sons enjoy traveling in Central America each summer, where they attend Spanish schools.
Margaret has traveled throughout most of South America and has spent time in Guatamala and El Salvador. She brings her enthuasiam for travel and learning about cultures to the classroom, and her experience as a Montessori guide and loving nature makes her especially attuned to the children.
